MatesBUS Stand

Breadboard-Free Stand for Breadboard Mates Series

The Mates Stand offers a simple connection for a MatesBUS-compatible device, such as the TIMI-96, TIMI-130, and REPTOR-250. It eases development by propping the MatesBus-compatible device up at an angle (35 degrees off vertical), aiding development when standing on a desk or bench.

The Mates Stand breaks out the ten signals found on the MatesBUS interface into two separate 5-pin headers, one on each side of the stand, allowing easy connections to the Mates Programmer.
The headers can also easily attach jumper wires to other devices or a Host, which can then be situated on a Breadboard or directly, somewhere beside or behind the stand.

The MatesBUS Stand uses the MatesBus, a unique interface pinout designed for simplicity and ease of use. The MatesBus consists of two rows of 5 pins, 0.1” (2.54mm) pitch, spaced 0.3” (7.62mm) apart, ideal for direct plugging into a breadboard or compatible adaptor or development board.

On the base of the MatesBUS stand are four mounting holes to fasten it down as required.

A Compact and Easy-to-Use Bus System

The Breadboard Mates series introduces the MatesBUS – a bus system designed specifically for easy integration with products and devices.

Its compact size and standard male and female headers make it accessible and easy to integrate. By adding a MatesBUS compatible header to a development platform or product, it allows easy connection of a MatesBUS product to that platform.
