Introducing the gen4-uLCD43-HS series - a high-resolution, versatile, and feature-rich intelligent display module from the gen4 product line. With a 4.3" TFT LCD screen delivering 800x480 pixel resolution, this new display outperforms its size class and offers resistive or capacitive touch panel options. The 4D Labs Diablo16 Graphics Processor powers the display, supporting extensive customisation possibilities. A 30-pin socket ensures easy connectivity, while compatibility with the Workshop4 IDE facilitates convenient programming and display adjustment. The gen4 series underscores space efficiency, allowing application boards to sit directly on the back of the module for smooth integration. Enhanced resolution, built-in audio generation, and 16 customisable GPIO are among the key features.
We're excited to announce the expansion of our gen4 display series, now featuring Wide Viewing Angle (WVA) options. Despite leveraging cost-effective TN display technology, WVA displays offer considerably wider viewing angles, similar to an IPS display, broadening potential applications. These gen4 series displays, powered by the feature-rich Diablo16 Graphics Processor, come in various models with resistive or capacitive touch options. Experience the future of display technology today with our gen4 series – Wide Viewing Angle Displays.
Australian technology manufacturer, 4D Systems, specialises in intelligent graphic solutions and embedded displays. From humble beginnings to a market leader, this family-run business prides itself in delivering innovative solutions globally. Despite COVID-19 disruptions, the firm has risen to meet global demand for high-quality parts, especially in the medical equipment manufacturing industry. Committed to innovation, environmental care, and collaboration, 4D Systems remains rooted in Australia while operating on a global scale. Their skilled engineering team works closely with world-class production facilities to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction. The company represents living locally and thinking globally.
Due to semiconductor supply shortages linked to COVID-19, 4D Systems faces extended lead times, affecting its DIABLO-16 and PICASO display modules production, specifically in gen4-uLCD, uLCD, and 4Discovery categories. Current obligations can't be met, with delivery delays of over 52 weeks. New orders are expected to ship from November 2022 to January 2023. Existing order updates will be communicated progressively. Despite challenges, the company remains committed to restoring regular supply once constraints ease.
