JAC, a leading industrial machinery manufacturer, collaborated with 4D Systems to provide interactive display units for their commercial bakery products, JAC Varia and JAC Tradilevain. JAC required a durable, high-quality and visually appealing screen capable of integrating all adjustment settings for their adjustable slice-thickness bread slicers. Adrien Craeninckx, CEO at JAC, stressed the need for both technical adjustments and user-varied parameters through the graphical interface. While JAC had an older 7-inch display from 4D Systems, they needed a solid, high-resolution but smaller display that could be easily integrated and quickly programmed by their R&D team.

Multimedia artist Mikhail Margolis combines digital technology and traditional art, utilising 4D Systems for innovative experiences. Harnessing skills across a range of media, Margolis blends technology with traditional formats to create unique pieces. His IT background allows him to tackle the technical challenges inherent in multimedia. His art is centred on self-expression and creating works that emotionally engage viewers. A current project is an interactive installation at Galerie Charlot in Paris, which explores the digital-human imprint and our relationship with the environment. Visitors are invited to navigate the exhibit as an amoeba-like entity, prompting reflection on human interaction and our evolving relationship with technology. The installation will make use of LCD-24P4 modules, chosen for their shape and suitability for viewing from various angles.
